When Malaysia began its Movement Control Order (lockdown) on 18 March 2020, Don Bowyer committed to streaming live music and bad jokes at 5pm everyday until the lockdown was lifted. This continued for 106 consecutive days, until 01 July 2020. Initially streamed through his Facebook page, these videos are now available as a Playlist on YouTube and collected together below on this page.
Subsequently, he did the same thing for 70 consecutive days for a second lockdown from 14 October through 22 December 2020, a third lockdown from 13 January through 04 March 2021, and a fourth lockdown from 06 May through 03 July 2021.
Dean of the School of Arts at Sunway University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bowyer is an American who has been in Malaysia since December 2016.
