Isotones – Chamber Music Concert – 3/11/14

The Isotones, a chamber music ensemble from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, will present a concert at Arkansas State University on March 11, 2014. Collaborating with them for this concert will be composer and trombonist Don Bowyer, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Arkansas State.

The ensemble will perform the following compositions:

  • Encounters IV for trombone and percussion; composed by William Kraft
  • Improvisations on Three Isotopic Spectra for percussion and spectrum analyzer; composed by Scott Eddlemon
  • Partita in E for violin; composed by Johann Sebastian Bach
  • Obsession for violin; composed by Eugene Ysaye
  • Primeval Atom for violin, trombone, percussion, and iPad; composed by Don Bowyer
