Cuban Jazz Recording Project – 11/9/15

Don Bowyer will be one of the first US Citizens to legally record music in Cuba in more than 50 years when his jazz composition Bugs and Gas is recorded as part of a Parma Recordings project involving eight compositions selected from among more than 200 submissions.

“Bridging Cultures through Music” is a Parma Recordings ‘People-to-People’ Cuban program, licensed through the U.S. Department of Treasury. This program will include Parma artists and composers collaborating with Cuban musicians to create new music that flows from both cultures.
